Chubb Insurance recently posted this video, produced by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, to their YouTube page. The video serves as a reminder that young drivers are the most at risk for getting into accidents:
According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, “Teenage drivers have the highest crash risk per mile traveled, compared with drivers in other age groups. The problem is worse among 16 year-olds, whose driving experience is the most limited and whose immaturity often results in risk-taking.”
Take a look, and remember to always drive safely.
We just wanted to take this moment to remind you about an important part of California Civil Code, the Insurance Disclosure. You can download and read about it here.
This past July the California legislature passed Assembly Joint Resolution 12, a resolution sponsored by Pacific Compensation Insurance Company requesting that the U.S. Congress and President Barack Obama pass the Strengthening Medicare and Repaying Taxpayers (SMART) Act. It’s very heartening to see the California State Legislature pass a joint resolution like this, encouraging the Federal Government to step up and fix the Medicare Reporting process.
Mark Webb of Pacific Comp., Assembly Member Jose Solorio, and the California Assembly Insurance consultant worked together to make this happen, and all three deserve a lot of credit.
